Termite / WDI Inspection
Termites love East Texas as much as we do — I find evidence of them all the time. A Wood Destroying Insect (WDI) inspection identifies termites and other wood-destroying organisms. It's required for VA loans and, honestly, a smart add-on to any purchase inspection around here. I can do it during the same visit as your home inspection.
What is a WDI (termite) inspection and do I need one?
A WDI inspection is where I look for evidence of termites and other wood-destroying insects, plus the conditions that invite them in — wood touching soil, moisture where it shouldn't be. VA loans require one, and honestly in East Texas it's worth doing regardless; termites like it here as much as we do. I hold WDI License #0995554 and do this work through Pest Inspection Network, Inc. (TPCL#783068), usually during the same visit as your home inspection.
